Visit to Airbus A350 factory at Broughton, CH4 0DR, on 11th July
Thanks to CSTS member Robert MacLachlan we have the opportunity to visit the Airbus A350 factory on 11th July 2019.
The A350 factory (opened by David Cameron in October 2011) produces wings for the new A350 XWB (extra wide body), aircraft which is made of more than 50% composite material.
This visit will start at 9.45am, and take about 2 hours, the timing is not negotiable, as a later start would disrupt their work.
We therefore need to leave Cirencester at 6.10am (note the revised time).
Given the early start, please would you reply to me as soon as possible if you would like to go, the cost would be coach travel plus a £5 contribution to Airbus.
