Dear Visitor, Please note that the forthcoming lecture, Fiat Lux - Professor Hugh Barr on the use of light to diagnose and treat disease will be held on Wednesday September 5th and not 12th as listed in your programmes. The reason for this is that the Sir Emrys Jones lecture theatre, where we usually hold our meetings, is not available on the 12th. I would like to be able to say that this is a late change but sadly I cannot. I was aware of this situation last February when I tried to book Prof Barr. The 5th was agreed upon by all parties and it then slipped my attention when I came to draft the programme for the year. Mea culpa! I hope this will not inconvenience too many of you and detract you from coming to hear what will be a most interesting talk given by a very dynamic speaker. I would be most grateful if you could pass this change on to any member who doesn't receive our e-mails, and I look forward to seeing you on the 5th. Kind regards, Dr. Malcolm Savidge CSTS Programme Secretary |
