Flat Holm Island

We are still hoping to get this visit fixed up, maybe in 2015!

The island lies in the Bristol Channel 4 miles from Cardiff Barrage, but is a world away in time. It has a long history, from the Vikings to Guglielmo Marconi. There are many rare plants and of course, abundant bird life.
Depart Beeches Car Park 10 am prompt, pick-up Tetbury. Over Severn Bridge arrive Cardiff Barrage, to board boats for island, at 12.30. Back in Cirencester 8 pm.
