This visit has been CANCELLED by the site.  We are promised a new date as soon as conditions allow - probably in the autumn.

This promises to be a very interesting visit given the controversy that has surrounded the site.

There is no charge for the visit, though our hosts would appreciate a donation to their designated charity (as yet unconfirmed). We would like members to take their own transport (sharing where possible as parking may be limited).
It is suggested that we meet at the Beeches Car Park at 11.45 to make arrangements for car sharing and then proceed to the site (sat nav GL10 3ET)

We need to allow 2 hours for the visit which will include a tour and a presentation on the operation of the plant. The tour will involve stairs and walking at heights so please tell me if you have mobility problems so that we can tailor the tour accordingly.

Personal protection equipment for your safety will be provided on your arrival.

I would be pleased if you could book this with me as soon as possible - a maximum of 20 people can go on a tour. If we have a very good response it may be necessary to book 2 tours.

Directions to the site and other relevant information will be sent to you closer to the date.
